I've been using Firefox and Thunderbird for a year now. My computer has an SSD, but suddenly both apps started loading much slower yesterday. I tried booting in troubleshooting mode, but it didn’t help. Any advice would be great. Operating system: Manjaro xfce 64bit Firefox: 114.0 Thunderbird: 102.11.0

Manjaro recently received a major update. I haven’t applied it yet—I usually wait about a week. Are you using xdg-desktop-portal-gnome? If so, I’d consider removing it. Check the forum thread here: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2682657. Also, see the Red Hat bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2176759 and the GNOME GitLab issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/xdg-deskt.../issues/74. Next time, please mention your distribution when updating.
