Firecuda 530 still experiences FPS drops despite updates.
Hello, I just upgraded my computer to a Firecuda 530 and a 7900 XTX SFX and a 5800x3d on a b450 elite aorus with 32go of ddr4 cl16 3200Mhz. I've a new EVGA 850w gold too. But when i play, I have drops of fps, and like Warzone 2 can't handle more than 120fps more or less, and it's really unstable and i've micro freezes. It's annoying spending that much but still having troubles. It does the same but way less noticeable on OverWatch, and the settings doesn't change a thing. I'm playing on a 1440p btw. And i changed my cpu because i was thinking it could be limits of my 3600 but it looks like it wasn't.. And for the temps on CPU i'm about 70 in game, sometimes 80 (waiting for my Artic new water cooling to cool it better). And the GPU is bellow 75 on hot spot. thanks in advance if you have ideas. Bios updated latest. Windows 10 up to date. Fresh install a month ago with amd 7900xtx drivers after uninstalling old drivers for my 5600xt.
Try various titles beyond Warzone and most cod games—they tend to be among the least polished. Expect FPS drops, stutters, and performance hiccups, which are typical for Warzone. Battle royale titles often suffer from these issues due to map complexity and development challenges. Experiment with different games or try 3D Mark Timespy. When using the 5800x3D, apply a -20 setting on all cores and observe the impact, or go up to -25 for more testing. This can help stabilize the 4450 clock.
