I've finished everything. Switching to the console is frustrating. I'm exhausted from constantly reinstalling faulty drivers, testing different options, just hoping a game runs smoothly. In the console, the game loads without problems... Why do I keep having these issues 50% of the time when trying to play on PC?

Console games can be reliable, but sometimes issues still happen. It might have been my mistake that caused the problem.

Switching to a console won't protect you from poorly coded games or drivers.

Even consoles have problems now. The best thing you can do is just sit on youtube and twitch and watch other people play for you. Why waste any energy or money at all? You get the full experience that way.

It feels like you're the only one with such a rare experience. While the 'pop games in and magic happens' era is long gone, your situation remains unique.

You typically rely on around a dozen games, though initial setup can sometimes be tricky, but after the first success it tends to function reliably each time. In most cases, I go for a game and it performs well consistently.

on pc you don’t need to install the game, just click it and it works again. The OP appears to have a huge number of question threads about PC upgrades—possibly changing his GPU every week...

Yes, I remember it, I struggled to make Fallout 4 work consistently on my PS4. It kept crashing often.
