The item features R005 or P005. I posted on Ifixit seeking advice about fixing my motherboard ifixit shared a link; I had to swap out the fans before encountering the same issue recently, while replacing the Wi-Fi cables caused them to touch the main board and begin smoking. The machine photos suggest the smoke likely originated from that area. Could this repair be done without purchasing a new motherboard? Also, during the fix, the battery cables broke. On my Ifixit post, someone noted the burnt component appears replaceable, and the battery connectors seem to be a frequent problem for Asus laptops. I was looking for guidance on finding this exact part for my laptop.
