I've been attempting to launch NFS 2015 on Steam for about two hours, but the results vary based on the Proton version selected. The game hasn't started in my Steam library yet, and it's not running regardless of the version I choose.

Restarted the computer and the issue with the EA app disappeared, but it keeps prompting you to activate the game... What's going on?

Don't worry about it, get the Linux ISO files through a torrent.
