Hello everyone. I'm trying to set up Windows 10 on a new PC and I'm installing the ISO on a USB drive. When prompted about which version to choose, I'm unsure. There are three options: Windows 10, Windows 10 Home single language, and Windows 10 N. I think I don't want the N version, but I saw a video where someone selects "Windows 10" and gets a confirmation that it matches their system. If I pick that, they ask me to verify it, otherwise they need a key. When I choose "Windows 10 Home single language," I don't see that confirmation. Does this mean I'll get the full Home version for free, or will I still need a key later? Thanks.

You require a key. Windows isn't free.

You should pick the "Windows 10" edition if you want a more recent and updated experience.

It remains fully operational at 99% because Microsoft ignores activation status, focusing instead on revenue from unactivated Windows 10 installations through data collection.

They do. When Windows isn't turned on, I think the computer will restart once each hour after a sufficient time without activation.

The choice to skip HOME might actually be the Pro version. It's not out of the question to begin anew if you select the incorrect option. You'll miss personalization features, and a watermark will appear in the lower right corner. Additionally, Microsoft account services won't function properly, like syncing settings across devices. Overall, it operates mostly as intended.
