Run a single-core test in CineBench and confirm the connection is properly plugged in.

Single core operates between 3.7 to 4.3 GHz and is connected via power input

It's functioning properly now, but there might be something else affecting it.

I understand, but currently it's still functioning under spec-ed. I can't pinpoint the issue right now—check temperatures with hwinfo64 just in case. It might be overheating, but they likely didn’t add any extra components beyond what’s listed. No idea, though, since it’s working as expected.

It's the 70 to 75 degrees range, thanks for your assistance—I got the point.

It could have been a normal temperature around 2.7GHz, possibly due to a different task load. During the beginning of the speed increase, the CPU might have temporarily reached that frequency for a short period before returning to lower speeds.

Several elements affect CPU speed enhancement. Even though this processor offers full-core boosting up to 4.1 GHz, it may not reach that speed if power isn't sufficient or temperatures become too high. The single-core performance differs from multi-core performance because of varying power use and heat generation.
