1. Is having reserved RAM important for my system?
2. How can I lower the amount of reserved memory? I’ve checked msconfig and changed the settings but haven’t seen results. Also, I moved my RAM to a different slot (it’s now on A2). Any advice would be appreciated.

In your situation, the reserved memory is probably allocated for the GPU's VRAM. You should find a setting in BIOS to adjust the amount being used.

it seems you're managing an APU that relies on RAM for the frame buffer. You might consider minimizing that usage, but if the APU requires additional RAM, it will consume more of it.
