I've attempted numerous solutions. The drivers either don't install or aren't functioning. I require hardware transcoding for jellyfin to operate properly.

You might need an older distribution, as these modern GPUs aren't compatible. A 750ti is also outdated for current use in jellyfin.

Intel is probably the right choice because they have open-source drivers, whereas Nvidia does not.

They indeed do. Typically, they function without needing any installation. Their open-source drivers are part of the kernel (with some closed-source alternatives available)

That's interesting. I've consistently disliked Nvidia for not offering that feature. It complicates things.
