The G3258 single core at 5ghz will match the speed of a stock Ryzen 3600 with turbo. Many everyday CPUs lag behind, such as the 3200g. Is it a good deal? Probably not. It’s not worth the effort to overclock an older CPU just to surpass the I3-9100F.
