you want to run the crew and only have a 1024x1280 display at 75Hz. when you launch the crew, background sounds play but no video appears. your monitor shows an error demanding 1920x1080 at 60Hz. can you make the game run in your screen size and resolution? i’ve tried newer titles like watchdogs 2 and assassins creed syndicate, where both loaded smoothly with video options, but the crew still fails to load.

If you navigate to: C:\Users\%username%\Documents\The Crew\ Right-click on: PCScalability.xml Select "Edit" Modify the lines: DesktopResX="1920" DesktopResY="1080" to DesktopResX="1280" DesktopResY="1024" and Width="1920" Height="1080" to Width="1280" Height="1024" You may also adjust the FPS (it was disabled in the options menu during testing. Could be changed similarly) FPS="60" - https://steamcommunity.com/app/241560/di...380059874/

I attempted that but it didn’t work. Could you explore alternative approaches? I think your plan is to switch your home TV’s resolution from 1080p to 1280x1024 in-game settings, then disable PC connection and connect your monitor. It might help if the result is successful.
