I'm looking for ways to resize a 4:3 black barred video so it fits properly. The current method just zooms in to cover gaps, but I need a tool that actually stretches the file. Any suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated.
High-quality video players offer settings for aspect ratio and image cropping, such as mpc-hc (Media Player Classic Home Cinema). You can access these via the View menu, pan & scan, or view menu > video frame > aspect ratio. Depending on the renderer, additional controls like pre-scaling or cropping may be available. I'm using a custom madVR renderer instead of the default Windows options, which typically lack these features.
