airflow is important unless you're okay with a noisy setup. For a cleaner, simpler appearance with fewer colors and lights, consider this option: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/zhjJ...se-mx330-g. Adding a 120mm fan is suggested, as most cases include just one or two fans.

The Focus G offers a great space for building. It’s roomy and looks modern. The blue variant seems to be the only one currently listed on mindfactory.

I’m also looking for retro-style cases with strong airflow during that time period, especially from the 2000s to early 2010s. That’s what I was thinking, plus I just enjoy the aesthetic.

Unfortunately, airflow wasn't a focus at the time, so your case might have a more limited design. However, if you're looking for style over function, pick something that catches your eye.
