Open your link, navigate to your desktop, and launch the game via Start Menu or Desktop. This should function properly. I’ve managed this with uPlay games before, though they were on dx11...

It launches the game yet skips the big picture mode, which means it’s attempting to treat the controller like a mouse instead of a controller—unfortunately, this isn’t that straightforward.

Hey there, I was trying to do the same. This game is really great, and I discovered a program called GloSC that lets you add the Windows Store version to Steam. You can play it just like usual with Steam or your Xbox controller, and it’s super fun! I’m currently playing FH4 on TV using the Steam link and Xbox 360 controller, and I’m really enjoying it.

I've tried several times, but Windows doesn't allow access to the .exe for FH4. No matter how many solutions or escalations I attempt, it still won't let me use it. For instance, I could open the hidden folder and locate the file, but you don't have permission to run it. Creating a shortcut works, yet Steam doesn't recognize it as a big screen, preventing controller controls. I haven't found a way to make it function properly.
