I’m still trying to figure out what might have stopped the LEDs from lighting up. It wasn’t OpenRGB, and it doesn’t affect the mainboard LEDs—it only controls my mouse and keyboard lights. The issue seems tied to the motherboard itself, possibly related to its power or BIOS settings.

Review your system settings. Look for a choice to disable the motherboard illumination there.

I reviewed all the BIOS settings, which makes sense, but there aren’t any LED or light controls available. It’s also puzzling that OpenRGB isn’t recognizing the GPU (Sapphire PULSE AMD Radeon™ RX 7800 XT with 16GB RAM).

The card doesn't mention any RGB features, so you're right to question if it supports ARGB.

There are no lights on the GPU at all. I don’t recall turning off the LEDs before or after installing the card. Most modern GPUs include some form of illumination. OpenRGB should manage many of them, at least previously.

Pulse cards represent the lower-value cards produced by Sapphire. There seems to be no indication of any LED effects with them.

It's not that I don't trust you or believe you. I'm just looking here to see if you missed something. The video I found says it's a Z690-A, but it's a DDR5 so the options might be different. There is an Aura option at the top of the motherboard. If you have that, does it show up in there? Spoiler I did find a video from Asus on a different Z690 board that seems to show these options when you click it. I wonder if it's in Stealth or Aura Only. Spoiler It seems like that stealth mode *might* also control graphics card RGB. There's also a way to turn that off in the ever so amazing Armory Crate.

I mainly check the motherboard indicators. It’s not essential, but it helps confirm everything is functioning properly.

It seems you were searching for MSI but ended up choosing Asus. That’s okay—there’s a setting for RGB in the BIOS that might be hidden in another program. Let me know if you need help finding it!
