It's my uncle's computer. I won't be upgrading it just because I want to play games for three months.

You're asking for clarification about your experience with 60 FPS. Are you finding it unsatisfactory? Your setup of 60 Hz display seems to work well for you.

45 FPS works, it was just a recommendation. For truly smooth performance on that laptop, you’ll mainly be able to enjoy indie titles and source games.

You might enjoy playing some classic NFS titles like Underground 2, Most Wanted 2005, Carbon, Guacamelee, Dust an Elysian Tail, Oddworld, Abe's Oddysee, Abe's Exodus, New'n'Tasty, Ori and the Blind Forest, Command & Conquer 3, Red Alert 2/3, Volgar the Viking Hotline Miami, and Transistor CS 1.6. These games are all still playable on my old CRT from 2007 with modern graphics support.

This is unrelated to the laptop's 60 Hz monitor.
