I'm staying at my uncle's place for three months and he only has a pretty average laptop. I'm curious about the games I can run there. The CPU seems decent for its price, but the graphics card is really lacking. I hope they built something more balanced, especially with HP. Processor: Intel Core i7-720QM 4-core at 1.60GHz Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 230m RAM: 4 GB Display: 1366x728 (720p)

Join the discussion area. It might let you enjoy Minecraft. The Half-Life titles should work too.

Minecraft? It's not helping. I'm already feeling down.

The 4 GB of RAM may limit performance, but Minecraft, Terraria, Portal and similar titles will work just fine. Most indie games like FTL: Faster Than Light and VVVVVV should also run smoothly. A decent CPU would let you play demanding games such as Planetary Annihilation, though they tend to need a lot of RAM. Of course, Tetris is always a challenge. I also suggest Super Hexagon, Antichamber, and other similar titles—Super Hexagon should work well on this system.

The laptop is still usable, though it's quite outdated with a weak graphics card. Most games should work fine.

Consider playing Fallout 3, Age of Empires 2 HD edition, and Hotline Miami.
