I've been working with Google SketchUp for years because it's enjoyable and straightforward to use. Now I have access to a 3D printer, and I've exported my models as STL files to print them. However, in the Maker-ware preview, major polygon issues appear consistently. Some faces don't display correctly, or the preview shows hidden geometry that wasn't visible before. I suspect the problem isn't just with the software—what I see in the preview matches what actually prints. I've tested various slicers, but they all produce the same errors. It seems the STL file itself might be flawed, or the conversion process is causing distortions. Could you help me figure this out? I'm a bit confused.

I don’t possess a .edu address, yet I managed to receive it possibly because I’m a high school student
