Hey, so I've just made an account on here to ask for some help, I've been trying to hackintosh my Lenovo T530 but there aren't any guides that I've found that apply to my laptop or much information on it all. I am aware that this is quite a niche so I've tried looking for people who have done it to other similar Lenovo laptops (so that hopefully the firmware used could work with mine though I'm not 100% sure if that's how it would work). I've seen some guides on x220's and 30's though I'm worried that its firmware's could ruin my T530 even if the hardware is similar. I on't care about macOS updates being supported or security (I know that wifi and probably many other peripherals won't work it's not too much of an issue for me) as I would just manly use windows, I just want to have one machine that has macOS (I know I could run a VM on my pc but I really want it on my laptop). I am really looking for a dual boot solution but if you know anything please let me know, I am open to any ideas or suggestions My lenovo's specs are: i5-3230M 8gb 1600 MHz DDR3 Intel HD graphics (not sure which version and if it'll work with macOS) Some Cheap Chinese SSD (its formatted in two so that I have a partition ready for macOS) Windows 10 I also have my desktop which I'm writing this off of now i5-7500 16gb 2400MHz DDR4 EVGA sc 1060 6gb Windows 10

You might be able to start a virtual machine on your laptop...? Regarding the firmware... the one for the x230 seems functional, though I wouldn't attempt it unless you treat the laptop as disposable.

You're wondering about virtualization support for your T530. It seems some X230 models share the same CPU as your laptop, so testing it might be worth considering. Thanks for checking!
