I have a 3.5-inch RPi screen measuring 480x320 with an XPT2046 and I’m curious about configuring it using a Raspberry Pi 0 running Kali Linux, which is based on Ubuntu. (P.S. I wasn’t aware of that!) Thanks again!

Begin by soldering a GPIO block onto the Raspberry Pi Zero, which features a 2x20 pin header (see https://www.adafruit.com/product/2822). Once connected, you'll need to obtain the display drivers from the manufacturer and adhere to their instructions for initializing the driver during the boot process.

I received a GPIO module you simply installed, it’s connected but you’re seeing a blank screen. I don’t know the drivers or details about it. You bought it a while back and aren’t even sure where you purchased it from, haha!
