there are likely many similar posts out there. if applicable, share the link or merge this with it. given the current state of AAA titles and limited YouTube recommendations, there aren't many solid picks. another reason for compiling this is that some systems have outdated specs, yet still offer plenty of enjoyable experiences. a few have dated visuals or controls, and others can't be downloaded anymore. this is my collection of games I've played or seen others try. i don’t support pay-to-win models or microtransactions—though some titles include them. for instance, gta 4 includes microtransactions but remains a solid choice, so i won’t list it. i’ll keep refining this list and organize the games into categories. welcome to add your own or share your favorites too. this isn't just for PC; it applies to consoles as well. i'll be updating this frequently as more titles come to mind, just a note on the games i've played:
