I'm planning a nine-month trip and need to fill my laptop with games. Mostly singleplayer titles make sense since internet might be unreliable. Avoid horror games like Amnesia. So far I have: Bioshock 1 & 2, Borderlands 1 & 2, Chivalry Medieval Warfare, Dark Souls, Deadpool, FTL, Goat Simulator, Kerbal Space Program, Mass Effect 1-3, Team Fortress 2, Mount and Blade, Warband, Cities Skyline, Dying Light, Metro Redux Bundle, Fable, Anniversary, Minecraft, Star Wars: Republic Commando, Crazy Taxi, The Sims 4. I'm also considering Warframe, Two Ex: Human Revolution, GTA V, and Elite: Dangerous. Still figuring it all out with limited time.

Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood were really enjoyable.

You're asking about where you plan to play the games, and whether portable consoles fit better for your needs.

Star Wars Empire at War feels a bit worn but remains enjoyable. It keeps things moving quickly at times. Yes, I’d choose GTA 5 if you haven’t tried it on a console yet. While I can’t really recommend GTA if you’ve already played the console edition, my experience playing it on PS3 and PS4 still makes me want to buy it for PC so I can team up with all my friends.

Attila, X-com, Dawn of War and similar games that don’t need great comfort. Sometimes I play Attila when I’m too tipsy to sit properly. Deus Ex is essential.

Adventurers of strength and enchantment, perfectly capturing that retro vibe! Yes, I’m also bringing my 3DS monster hunter too… but my laptop is essential. I’ll explore these titles, thanks to you all. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been playing many early-access survival games with friends, and I’ve fallen behind on single-player experiences—this is my opportunity! I’m open to more recommendations; there’s always room for more games. Even though I mostly sit at my computer chair, I’m dealing with some back discomfort now…

Bioshock Infinite, though it might feel a little unsettling at times.

Alright, fine. Just don’t expect anything too wild or over-the-top. I’m trying to keep it real but not going for anything extreme like Hector’s kind of stuff. I’m not a big deal, but I can’t deny how embarrassing this is. Pants run out quick, and explaining the mess on the chair isn’t easy.
