I’ve focused on the EUDIMM model I’m considering, which is now available at https://semiconductor.samsung.com/dram/m...a3bb0-cwm/. Friends suggested Samsung products, and this option seems to balance size and performance well. It appears relatively new in the market, making it harder to find pricing details. This lack of clear pricing might push me toward more common 32 GB 2R DIMMs.

Search results for Samsung M324R6GA3BB0-CWM returned mostly internal pages, which isn’t ideal for regular buyers. Many partners no longer prominently list Samsung components, and some offer services aimed at corporate clients rather than individual users.

No one seems to have recommended a trusted source for ordering two sticks of this component, which is why I’m considering alternative reputable sites. Here are a few you might find useful:

- Crucial DDR5 server memory – https://www.crucial.com/memory/server-dd...85s1ec48br
- Kingston Premier DIMM – https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/serve...unbuffered
- Micron DIMM catalog – https://www.micron.com/products/dram-mod...rt-catalog
- Samsung official EUDIMM page – https://semiconductor.samsung.com/dram/m...cc-sodimm/
- SKHINX UDIMM product page – https://product.skhynix.com/products/dra...e/udimm.go

These links should help you locate the part more easily.

I wonder why you favor purchasing "standard RAM." That seems disconnected from the current discussion. I think your preference stems from a mix of slight cost savings—ECC needs more chips per rank compared to DDR5—and existing hardware optimized for speed instead of modules with stricter timing constraints. The 'on die' ECC won’t sway my decision. I’d pick ECC for the same reasons I’d prioritize ZFS or another filesystem with built-in storage validation. Statistics eventually catch up and errors show through.

Hey there, just wanted to clarify why non-ECC RAM might be the better choice. It’s not about forcing a need that didn’t exist initially, but rather matching your requirements. If you’re looking for something more reliable for gaming, programming, or even a small server, ECC RAM isn’t necessary unless you’re running a large, critical system. Keep in mind, using ECC on a standard motherboard won’t work. For the best option, check out this link: https://www.crucial.com/memory/server-dd...s1ec48ba1r (great value and performance)

Not aiming to offend, but my needs for ECC and specialized gear are clear. It seems you’re seeking it for reasons that might not align with what’s practical. Most users who ask about ECC memory actually have valid use cases and can rely on standard options. Providing such advice would be misguided, as it overlooks the real requirements of modern systems.

Concerning the memory you mentioned: it’s probably not accessible in small batches for non-business clients, as it’s tailored to enterprise demands.

The situation highlights a curious twist: those who require ECC RAM will already understand where to locate it. Those without the knowledge will seek guidance from others. Occasionally, a specialist struggles to find a vendor who can justify why they truly need it. Just remain silent if you’re unsure. If you’re informed, share your insights. Their decision will ultimately reflect their remorse. I’ll include this in your reference: Axiom AXG1075102162/1 (4800 MHz/48 GiB) $229.05 as of this writing SAMSUNG M324R6GA3BB0-CWM (5600 MHz/48 GiB) only sampling and unpurchasable as of this writing. They’re both DIMM units, not SO-DIMMs. Since you’ve got both form factors, it likely isn’t the key factor here. I’m confident you’ve thoroughly checked if your setup can support it.
