Steam should allow you to define commands that activate at startup. By right-clicking on an item in your library, going to Properties, and selecting Set Launch Options, you can configure these commands there.

I tried the commands you provided and adjusted the FPS limit to 60. Despite that, the game still showed a steady 110 FPS on the main screen.

Add "+fps_max [fps]" and "+viewmodel_fov [fov]"; these are intended for launch commands, not console instructions run at startup. The Scaleform UI has its own FPS limits.

Absolutely, the TF2 fan is familiar with Steam shortcuts, thanks Dan! It saved me from typing console commands each time I wanted to play CSGO!

Source titles you with essential console shortcuts from TF2 that work in CS:GO, and vice versa. You’ll likely find it helpful to create an autoexec.cfg file, though I’ll need to verify that myself.
