These issues appear exclusively on firearms, not other surfaces or items. Specific models like AK 47, M4A1, Galil, Bomb, and Glock are affected, but not all guns. They only occur during inspection with F and are limited to certain maps (notably M4A1). I observed a small dot artifact on the M4A1 recently, initially dismissing it. When playing games like Office, Inferno, or Nuke, only the M4A1 displayed this issue. In Mirage, artifacts appear only during warmup and not elsewhere. After reinstalling Windows on a new SSD, the same problem persisted in CSGO. I experimented with lower settings and different configurations without success. A video exists showing these artifacts and potential solutions. Your system specs include: Windows 10 Home x64, RX 550 i5, 4GB RAM, 2GB LPDDR4X memory, 4x2GB SSD (Lexar NQ100), 1TB HDD, Toshiba PSU, and ThinkCentre Edge motherboard.
Update your GPU drivers or try an older version. If your AMD card shows artifacts in certain games, it might be related to driver issues. Test other games to see if the problem persists. If it works and you still have the board, run MemTest86 to check RAM. Some systems include it in the BIOS. If not, create a Rufus image with MemTest86 and boot from it via BIOS as a Windows ISO. This could help isolate whether the driver is causing the issue or if the game itself is problematic.
Here 3 tests succeeded, I never saw blue or black screens this year, so I don’t think it’s related to RAM. For drivers, I tried five different versions in 2022 but nothing resolved the issue. It doesn’t seem like random artifacts are causing it. Why does it only happen with guns and at certain spots and maps? A month ago I overclocked my GPU for a day and ran Furmark and Heaven without any artifacts or crashes.
