Find and delete built-in or default applications on Mac Mojave.
Apple's latest macOS update, Mojave, has made it tough for users to conceal or eliminate bothersome applications such as News, Stocks, Home, etc. The issue seems tied to the kernel, which blocks these actions. A colleague and I discovered a solution and shared it on GitHub. Our fix avoids disabling SIP, which is a major hassle. If Apple tries to restrict this method, you can restart from a live USB running an older macOS version that supports APFS, like High Sierra. We didn't include that backup plan, but it could be useful if needed. I thought it worth mentioning since no similar fixes exist and people might look for this given the official announcement. Happy hacking! P.S. You're lucky, Apple.
