Hi, i am building a PC for a friend and have ran into an issue the motherboard is an asus p8h77, and it has a older USB front panel connector than the case, which has a newer connector. The case is a montec x1, maybe there is an adapter on Newegg that someone can send me a link to Please and Thank you. or maybe its just not possible. Thanks! An h77 motherboard might need a plug adapter. There could be a way to connect internal USB to another port. The exact setup isn’t clear. If you don’t have one, consider adding a port expansion system in either a 5.25” or 3.5” bay if available. Many boards come with various SD card slots, which are usually inexpensive and can be purchased from places like AliBaba, though this approach is somewhat haphazard.
