Use VirtualBox (likely for macOS too) or Wine to execute .exe files. It's important to remember that Wine doesn't replace Windows for gaming purposes.

I’m going to share this too. VirtualBox is free and performs well! The ability to switch between Mac and Windows in the past was a nice feature. I run Windows 7 inside VirtualBox to use Visual Studio and work on C# programming.
