Hey, the FPS unlocker mod for Elden Ring has really caught my attention since I installed it a few days back. I appreciate how developers are working on games that let you play at 60fps with Vsync. But the performance doesn’t quite match what I hoped. At full settings, I’m hovering around 75-100 fps on 1440p, while others with similar builds are hitting 60fps in 4K. I’ve tweaked the in-game settings, but they seem to only boost FPS by a few points max. During play, GPU-Z shows about 30-40% GPU usage and PerfCap says Idle Reason, which is odd. CPU load is around 20%. No overheating issues noticed. Anyone else faced this problem? Is this a known ELDEN RING issue? Any tips to push FPS higher or increase GPU/CPU utilization? I’d love to reach 165fps with my RTX 4080, 3900X and 32GB RAM.

On a 5800X3D and 4080 setup with an FPS unlocker, the average is about 145fps at 1440p on full settings. There might be a minor bottleneck from the 3900X, but your GPU usage seems low. Try using DDU to uninstall and reinstall drivers via GeForce Experience. Also, visit your motherboard’s support site for any available BIOS or driver updates. Ensure DOCP/EXPO is turned on. If nothing helps, there could be another problem.

Also note this point since the 3900x tends to stay moderate until it escalates

Activated PBO, DOCP, aligned memory and FCLK, achieving improved performance near 140 fps. Appreciate the help.
