I own an i5 4590 with outdated RAM and storage. My gaming goals are:
- Run modern RPG titles like Assassin's Creed Odyssey at 60 FPS in 1080p with high/ultra settings.
- Also enjoy Assassin's Creed and Cyberpunk 2077.
- Play FPS/tps games such as Battlefield at 100–144 FPS on a 144Hz monitor.
- Accept slightly lower quality for better performance if needed.
- Budget is around $1000 and I'm based in France.
Let me know if I've explained clearly enough!

Don't assume this with a 1060 lol. Hold on to Zen 3.

The r3 3300x with a b450 board and 2x8 GB RAM should cost around 300 euros. If your budget is 1000 euros, consider upgrading the entire system—this 1060 isn<|pad|>, isn’t a top-tier option.

Hello, you asked about the specifications for 3000 NVIDIA cards. Regarding your GTX 1060 with 6GB, it should handle high-quality settings on AC Odyssey with some adjustments, though you might need to balance performance and quality. Upgrading your processor could help, but there are trade-offs involved. You're already managing 30 fps and high settings except for shadows—good start!

No Most games are more GPU heavy than cpu Your cpu is fine but your GPU is not You said you wanted a cpu upgrade ? Either way wait for both zen 3 and ampere

Hey thanks your answer! I only realy want to get to play bfv and most recent fps. It's just that my current cpu and gpu don't work well together. If it is not possible to play cyberpunk, New AC or others with the 1060 6gb it's fine, I'll wait and buy next gen console and focus on runnable games on my (updated) pc in the mean Time.

I'll review those options. If you want around 100-144 frames per second like BFV, even with some settings tweaks, and you're already experiencing issues with BFV on your CPU, I’d suggest sticking to older or more stable alternatives. Also, you don’t need next-gen specs—stick with what fits your current hardware.

They mentioned a 3300x would be a major improvement, a 3600 if you have the budget. You can get both a CPU and GPU upgrade with a 3300x, or a 3600 paired with a 5600xt, or a 3600 with a 5600xt and a 5700xt, depending on what you can afford.

Sure, I can help with that. What specific aspects of rx CPUs are you curious about? Also, do you want a comparison with Intel processors in terms of performance, features, or pricing?

These are Ryzen processors. The 3300X is similar to the 7700K, while the 3600 is comparable to the 8700K but offers improved IPC, probably.
