Hello, your NZXT Kracken x61 and Corsair RM 1000 PSU are functioning well with the current setup. The CAM software is working smoothly for the cooler, but the Corsair PSU driver seems to clash with CAM. You might try updating both drivers or checking for an older version of CAM that doesn’t have these issues.

This CAM software refers to a computer-aided manufacturing program, often used for designing and simulating production processes. It helps create detailed models and prepare them for manufacturing.

It seems you're suggesting the need for specific tools from Corsair and NZXT to connect your PSU and cooler.

You can't use them together because of a conflict with the driver, which turns off Corsair's link feature.

I own a NZXT Kraken X61 and Corsair AX 860i. Attempting to run both NZXT CAM and Corsair Link together is proving difficult. 1) Opt for NZXT Kraken Control for the X61, as it won’t conflict with Corsair Link. This approach, however, causes the X61’s variable pump to operate at maximum speed continuously. 2a) Abandon NZXT CAM entirely. It creates excessive noise, automatically activates CAMFPS (similar to malware behavior), consumes high CPU, and keeps trying to connect to 2b) Employ Corsair Link to manage the (Asetek-based) NZXT Kraken. It appears as a Corsair H80i GT or Corsair Hydro Series 7289 USB Device. Notably, Corsair Link isn’t the lightest option—it had its own issues—but it’s a more viable choice overall. If it doesn’t appear clearly, verify Device Manager/USB controllers list the 'Asetek USB Device'... If the problem persists, let me know.
