Find a site that offers all necessary files at once, such as VLC and WinRAR, quickly. Thanks!

You're probably considering www.ninite.com. It offers a wide range of necessary tools in one location.

Indeed, the matter is mostly not a concern for 99% of people. It's rare for a user to require installing Ninite onto another drive letter. Those who do will just need to install it themselves. Still, it remains helpful as a reference guide—showing potential programs that might be worth adding.

Sadly I’m at the 1% stage. When I first tried Ninite, I didn’t realize it would install everything on my OS drive. After it finished, I had to uninstall more than ten programs and then download each one from their official sites. It was a really frustrating experience.

It seems the whole idea behind Ninite is to automatically download and set up programs without any user input. You simply pick what you want and it handles the rest. They likely use the default installation spot (usually C drive) because you can’t pick another location. The premium version supports this feature and works with Active Directory, but it comes at a cost.

Curious question: why would they require programs to be installed on a different drive letter?
