Find a reliable low-clock speed and safe voltage setting for your Ryzen 3000.
I've been experimenting with lowering the CPU voltage to reduce GPU load and heat in some older games where FPS is already very high (350+). Since driver limits or in-game caps aren't working, I'm testing stability through hot-runs at full-core 1.325v on the highest stable frequency in CB R20. If the CPU stays warm but doesn’t crash—either by overheating or a BSOD—I’m seeing better results. At lower voltages (around 1.0–1.1V), temperatures stay well below 48°C and 55°C, even after repeated runs. In contrast, at 1.2V the temps spike to about 60°C, which causes crashes. I’m aiming for a balance: keep the CPU cool while maintaining performance. Are you pushing too far? Stability is key, but safety comes first.
