I connected my old screen yesterday to watch videos and monitor things. I want the Start Menu hidden sometimes, not always. Right now it’s set to hide it both times. I hope this makes sense, my English isn’t great and I’m a bit confused about it hehe.

You can configure it to appear when your mouse is at the bottom of the screen... it functions most of the time.

Yes, you can do it by clicking the taskbar, selecting Taskbar settings, and then finding the option to show it on all displays.

If you don’t want to move it to another screen or adjust its position, right-click and confirm the lock taskbar setting isn’t active. Then keep the mouse button pressed in an empty area of the taskbar and drag it as needed.

This setting works on the secondary screen only, not the main one. Adjusting it affects both displays.

You're still using Windows 7 for your main PC, which means you might not realize how advanced the operating system can be. You can enhance settings with multi-monitor tools like DisplayFusion or ActualMultipleMonitors (+ MultiMon).
