Hey! I'm looking to get a 2-in-1 device for both work and personal projects—think internet use, audio recording, and maybe light video editing. I'm aiming to stay within a budget of around 1000 dollars. From checking online stores, it seems AMD is making a strong entry with their new mobile CPUs, which caught my attention first. Later, I visited a nearby shop where the owner strongly recommended Dell products, mainly citing warranty and build quality. While I appreciate that, the price range for those specs doesn’t quite match what I was expecting. So, are AMD’s mobile options worth considering? Also, some key details to keep in mind: a 1080p display, touchscreen or pen support if possible, around 8GB RAM would be fine, and at least 500GB storage is a must. Suggestions like Lenovo IdeaPad 5 with Ryzen7, IdeaPad Flex 5 with Ryzen5, or HP ENVY X360 models come to mind. Any other ideas you'd recommend? Cheers!

I’d opt for those envy machines. A quick note for heavy tasks: keep the back slightly off the surface. The feet are flat, so airflow to the vents is limited—could cause a significant drop.

It sounds like you're considering a feature that leans toward gaming, possibly found in some business-focused Asus models. I'm not sure if it's available there.

I didn't intend the meaning related to the laptop lifting by itself. My understanding is about using a stand and pencil while handling it.
