I was attempting to send my SR-2, but noticed four missing capacitors. One was recovered, though they aren't the same as the others. Anyone have a schematic? It's near the 24-pin power connector.

Capture a clear view of the region. Search Google Images until you locate a detailed shot of the motherboard in that spot, where the capacitor value and voltage rating are displayed. Once you have that information, it's just about sourcing low ESR polymer capacitors that match those specifications and ensuring proper spacing between the leads.

Spacing isn't an issue—I can adjust the leads. I understand one of the caps is E177 (not crucial), 560uF, 6.3V, which I've already ordered. It seems I'm missing some for the rest... Also, do you have any PSU/AIO suggestions? The setup has a double socket, so I need two CPU power supplies.

The discussion focuses on selecting capacitors with low ESR, ideally under 50mOhm, and using small leads. Recommended options include 560uF 6.3V capacitors from any brand, or higher voltage-rated ones if needed. Links to Digi-Key are provided for further selection. Clarify if you need more details on specific requirements.

They’re aiming to upgrade them in water to reach 4.7ghz whenever possible. I’m sure I got lucky with the silicon selection—they’re already delivering strong performance.

Does this appear acceptable? It shows a low ESR rating, but I'm not confident about eBay. This is the highest-capacitor part that's missing. Thank you for sharing the image—I'll check with SR-2 owners if needed and consider upscaling if possible.

They aren't ideal for this setup. Though the board might work with them, the capacitors are primarily low ESR and designed for computer power supplies rather than VRMs that run at higher frequencies. For instance, a 560uF 6.3uF unit typically has an ESR around 70 mOhm, whereas most solid or polymer types sit between 10-15 mOhm. A lower value is preferable. The ripple current is 0.7A for the KZE series, while polymer capacitors can handle up to 5A—higher capacity is better. Refer to my notes; you'll need those "solid" or polymer types.
