It might be simpler to request a fixed IP from your internet service provider, as they usually offer it for about £5 each month.

The business plan costs significantly more than average. Most ISPs add a small extra fee, but prices generally stay close together for basic services. For instance, my backup line offers 24Mbps ADSL2+ for £15 per month.

The cost is identical. I’d need to persuade my dad to switch. I overlooked that we’re using Vodafone.

The main drawback is that the contract term will extend another year or more each time. Currently, business assistance is identical to residential help for slower connections; you’d have to opt for a leased line or similar for genuine professional support.

The domain is currently registered with a different organization. To add manual DNS entries, you need to visit the appropriate DNS management portal for that provider.

I'll talk to my dad. They're referred to as zfast. I manage my DNS settings using cPanel.
