I've managed to set up Windows 10 on my MacBook 9,2 A1278 without Boot Camp. Now I'm having trouble locating the drivers for the AirPort WiFi card and the trackpad. Since I didn't install Windows via Boot Camp, I had the drive wiped and started fresh with only Windows 10. I attempted to save the drivers on an OS X flash drive before wiping, but the download kept failing because of a connection issue, even though the internet was working. It seems the standard method doesn't work here. I'm wondering if I should check the chip model on the AirPort card for a specific driver or look up the exact model number to find a compatible one.

Consider this Boot Camp Support Software collection. It's a .zip file containing Windows installers that function even without using Boot Camp during installation. (I utilized it to set up drivers for a Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad someone insisted on using on a PC.) https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1837?view...cale=en_US This package dates back to 2015, making it somewhat outdated but still compatible with modern laptops. After establishing a network connection, let Windows Update search for the additional drivers.
