I recently upgraded my PC for the first time by switching from an Intel core i5 10th gen and a GTX 1660 super to a Ryzen 5 8500G and a RTX 4070 super. I verified compatibility of all parts and checked if my power supply could handle the new load. Once everything was installed and powered on, except for the side panel, I didn’t see any output. I then tried repositioning my RAM, GPU, and CPU without success. Please offer any troubleshooting advice for this situation.

You’d need the complete component list for the build. Are there any indications of activity? Things like spinning fans or LEDs. I’d consider removing everything and restarting from the motherboard case if something seems out of place.

Current components include Ryzen 5 8600G, RTX 4070 Super, two WD blue 4TB PCIe 4th gen NVMe SSDs, two 16GB DDR5 6000MHz T-Force Vulcan modules, Samsun 870 EVO SSD, and a Corsair RM750 750W PSU. The fans are running and all connected LEDs are active, but the monitor displays "No signal from device" in standby mode. This is your Dell QDOLED AW3423DWF display.

The LEDs indicate which parts aren’t working or show error codes. They’re not listed on the motherboard, but they’re present on each board. Your display cable is connected to the GPU, not the ports on the motherboard.

With an integrated GPU available, it's suggested to eliminate the separate GPU (4070) and verify full operation before using additional components.
