I've nearly finished developing my game for Steam, named Golden Fall 2. What steps should I take before launch? I've gathered around 180 wishlists. Should I increase my advertising efforts? I'm using Google Ads, but I'm unsure how well it performs. There will be a Steam Festival—should I release before or after? An initial sale is planned, so what discount would be ideal on release day (Steam recommends this)? Do I need to secure reviews from critics? The chance of big reviewers is low, so it might not be worth the time. What else should I prepare? Also, am I thinking about releasing the game on Switch later? That sounds like a good idea.
