I've been checking out A Realm Reborn. Would you like my opinion on it? It seems like a good option to fill the gap after Burning Crusade in World of Warcraft.
Yes I definitely would, it's a great game. Really, really, really great. If you like reddit that is. The community is one of the best I've seen, if not the best and they will answer all of your questions. A lot of new people ask for advice there so it's a common thing.
Once my PC is resolved, I expect it will start working properly. I tried seeking assistance on the forum, but no one could help. In fact, following their advice made things worse. Now I’m asking a friend to fix it, and so far it’s been the better part of April.

I appreciated how FFXIV allowed seamless transitions between classes using a single character. You didn’t need to build new characters or names for different roles, making it easy to adapt based on your needs. I’m excited to dive back in after the expansion drops on June 23rd.

It probably won’t require "the better part of April" to resolve the issue, so double-check that your friend isn’t intentionally harming you.
My friend has multiple jobs and is also handling my computer work, which I understand is due to his current workload.
I love this MMORPG, so give it a try—especially if you're into the series. It felt new when I played and really sparked my desire to hang out with others while switching classes. Those are some standout features, definitely on the "5 reasons" list. Hope you enjoy it once you start!
