You picked up the box while setting up FF15 on your PS4 and saw "Nvidia Gameworks" on the case. That made you wonder why. It’s interesting since AMD builds GPUs for both PS4 and Xbox One, but Gameworks appears here.

It's okay to use Nvidia's tools for optimization, and the PC version should run smoother with their GPUs.

However, Nvidia assists in enhancing game performance, resulting in optimisation tailored for its own systems, which in turn drives higher sales of NV devices. The PC launch remains uncertain.

It could be seen as promoting Nvidia by supporting game development and featuring their branding.

It seems you're aiming for a PC setup to enjoy World of Final Fantasy and require Nvidia to support PhysX for enhanced performance.

I understand your point, though it seems AMD might be overlooking something.

It's interesting to think about whether AMD could feature their Gaming Evolved branding in any titles they assist with optimization. Given their ownership of the console's intellectual property, such as the PS4 hardware, it might be feasible to incorporate their trademark into relevant games.

That's strange. It doesn't work on PC at all.

It's due to Nvidia providing assistance mainly for promotional purposes, not financial returns. AMD appears to lack the same level of ambition.

You could be correct, and there may be the explanation behind AMD lacking sufficient engineers. This isn't a free benefit; it represents a cost for both organizations.
