It shouldn't strain the CPU over time. The AIDA64 stress test ran smoothly for 45 minutes without any problems. I plan to replace the Blackridge cooler tomorrow and check if it improves temperature readings. I've attached a screenshot of my idle performance; the voltage reading isn't correct, but the CPU ID is accurate.
In Ryzen Master it is possible, though you need to reapply the profile each time you boot up the PC as far as I know.
Consider the choice for XFR—it might be necessary to turn on PBO, while XFR activates itself automatically
I believe 4GHz is sufficient. It was mainly for maintaining stable temperatures. Plus, it’s my kids’ system and he lives in another city, making it hard to visit if issues arise. I currently have a 4.1GHz setup on 1.2V, and everything seems to be working well so far.
