Hello, I usually wait before posting unless I hit a barrier. Recently I moved to Germany and set up internet with Vodafone. The plan I chose included a free modem, but I picked it up without paying extra. After installation, I began setting it up and found the router is standard (wireless) but the wireless option isn’t enabled. I looked up Vodafone forums and saw that activating this feature costs money. It bothers me how companies charge for features. That’s why I switched to a TP-Link router and connected it to my Cgb Vodafone device – everything worked. But I started having issues: multiple iPhones connect fine, but WhatsApp drops, some apps like eBay show ads but not images, while YouTube works but others don’t. On my TV, which uses the Ethernet connection, it sometimes pulls up the wrong TP-Link IP, causing problems. Only YouTube and Chrome seem to function properly. I need someone who knows how to block TV from joining the TP-Link network – any tips for the TL-WR841N? Also, I’m curious if disabling Wi-Fi and reconnecting on my phone resolves these issues. Please help me fix this without extra costs.
