I encountered an error after updating Fortnite due to a firewall blocking me. I forwarded ports and the problem disappeared. Later, when I forwarded Apex ports, I experienced severe stuttering and lag when playing against opponents. Initially, I thought it was a port issue, but after disabling the Identifier 113 filter for security, the problem vanished. The Identifier 113 is active for safety reasons. Leaving it enabled disrupts my entire network, not just my gaming PC. I use a Linksys smart router connected to Wi-Fi and have never faced Fortnite issues on other devices. Never had to forward ports before. Disabling Identifier helps but causes noticeable performance drops, including texture rendering delays and temporary graphical glitches. This is definitely related to the internet connection for Fortnite. Thanks for your help.
