I recently cleaned my SSD and didn<|pad|> page didn’t get deleted through the user files. Important programs, photos, and videos vanished too. I tried Recuva to recover them but wasn’t successful. On EaseUS, the files are still there. Fortnite won’t uninstall or force delete it either. Should I reset my PC and preserve the files to fix the opening issue?

When trying to restore lost data: Avoid making any adjustments. Keep your SSD as untouched as you can—don’t shift files, copy, erase, or change anything. You might find it better to power off your computer and connect the SSD as a backup drive on another machine. Then experiment with as many recovery programs as you can, to determine what works. To run Forenew for the latest version: Reinstalling could help, but it will likely destroy any possibility of retrieving deleted files.

Also, that idea seems silly—have you checked the recycle bin? If you didn’t clear it by hand, there’s a high chance files remain there.

I've looked in the recycle bin within Recuva and confirmed nothing was detected. Removing the SSD isn't working, so I'm considering obtaining a non-trial EaseEU version.

Users often experience smooth performance initially, but deleting crucial files can cause issues. It's a normal learning curve—avoid repeating the mistake. Smile
