I'll start tracking the Star Citizen update process for about an hour. It will halt and display a prominent red error stating "SOURCE FILE WAS CORRUPTED." I'll have options to retry or re-download all patches. This isn't a one-off issue; it's occurring multiple times across several attempts, with this happening twice during the current patch cycle. Have you noticed anything comparable?

I haven’t eliminated it, but that suggests Star Citizen is the sole problem with my connection. Everything else works fine. The error image above is included for reference.

Have you explored the RSI forums and their discussion sections? The developers there could provide additional details.

The best way to fix issues in Star Citizen is to remove the USER folder from your SC folder. You’ll need to re-download everything, but the problem should be resolved.

I was going to repeat the same point. In the worst situation, you could erase everything and begin anew. It’s time-consuming but results in a clean outcome.

It occurred to me during a period without updates (I was away for weeks). Trying to delete the user folder didn’t resolve it. I had to re-download all patches, which finally fixed the issue.

Yeah, as there is no progress to be saved you'll be good if you just delete the whole thing. It's annoying, but Alpha eh...

Yeah, I expected the solution to this would be wiping the game from my system and doing a clean install. Before I did it, though, I wanted to see if anyone else had seen the problem. I don't want to go to those lengths if the problem is just going to reappear immediately anyway. It's definitely worth checking, particularly since this is a refurbished Seagate HDD. That said, I have 650 GB of games on it, and only Star Citizen is having any problems. It's also the drive I keep my page file on, which has a tendency to cause BSoDs if the drive is faulty. I'm having no issues like that. Thanks for your help, everyone.
