battlefield 6 worked fine during the beta and on initial launch but since then i have had random crashes to the desktop every time after about 5 min in game with no error codes or anything. i know other people have this issue but i noticed that even after a fresh install ill open the game it'll freeze after a few minutes and then crash to the desktop i go to verify game files and it will always say 3 files failed to validate if i try and validate multiple times i can get the game to work but as soon as i close the game out and open it again it still crashes idk if this is something on my end or not i feel like i have tried everything that ive seen online to try and fix this issue but nothing has worked does anyone have any thoughts or maybe a third party file system checker that i could use? I also see that in the event viewer the only thing that pops up in the crash detector says something about eaanticheat i have tried reinstalling that as well and it does nothing

Battlefield 6 frequently faces problems with three files that can't be confirmed. This issue has affected many players, including myself. I experienced it too and eventually gave up trying to resolve it. (Checking for verification via Steam). I also faced numerous crashes during BF6, which was strange. In the first beta it was stable, but in the second beta it would crash on any surface (BIOS update resolved it). The launch weekend was stable again, but the second weekend brought crashes until the final weekend, which kept crashing left and right. Eventually, stopping my GPU's power slider at 125% helped—returning it to 100% eliminated the crashes. (This setting works in all other games I play). Battlefield 6 behaves like a performance stress test, draining system resources and triggering crashes from even minor instability. That’s why many users fix their issues by updating the BIOS or turning off XMP/DOCP, which removes unnecessary overclocking and UV settings. I’m the only one in my circle who frequently adjusts OC and UV, and I’ve had crash problems—definitely a clear indicator.
If you need to turn off XMP/DOCP and you have a decent setup—not a top-tier OC rig with strict timing—consider checking your BIOS updates. Running an older BIOS might cause RAM issues you weren’t aware of, since past games didn’t stress your system like BF6 does. Good luck fixing it; BF6 is a solid title.
