I’m not sure how things are progressing with my Steam downloads. My connection is fast and stable, with almost no interruptions, though packet loss tests show minimal drops. The game alternates between short bursts of a few minutes and longer periods, sometimes taking days to finish one title. I’m using an MSI M371 and also testing on an NVMe drive. I have plenty of space—500GB free before starting this download… It’s just confusing what’s happening.

Also important: cache removed; speed test data included. So far I haven’t found any solution. It’s frustrating because everyone else is gaming while it feels like an eternity for me to load one title.

These are the servers you're connecting to. You reached 109MB/s, which is nearly the 1GBps speed your ISP offers. 1MB/s equals 8Mbps, so 108x8 equals 864Mbps. Occasionally when my download slows down in Steam, I pause it for about ten seconds and then restart it—speed returns instantly.

Hi! Thanks for the update. The problem is I’ve been downloading Marvel Rivals for about four hours and I’m still around 60% done. I can pause or unpause, but nothing seems to fix it. The estimated time left fluctuates wildly—from a few minutes to over two days. It’s really frustrating.

Switch to a different server. Typically Tokyo or Hong Kong work best (I'm in the EU).
