What are your thoughts? Do you need to enable it, adjust the settings, or turn it off? Make sure you're using Windows 8.1 with 8GB RAM.

Activate the system, configure the variable to 512-2048. It must remain active. RAM may need defragmentation occasionally because of its operation, and it relies on the Pagefile even when usage isn't at full capacity.

Consider using both storage options. Your files are on Windows Drive, while your games, movies, and downloads are on another drive that’s turned off.

I would transfer it to your secondary storage (excluding the operating system drive) to prevent it from slowing down the OS during page file operations.

Turn off the paging file on the primary storage drive and turn it back on for the secondary drive, then restart your computer.

Page file remains essential to keep. Only consider disabling in rare cases with precise requirements.
